Thanks for the response, but it's not that i find any thing wrong with the site but i have used the world news dec 2009 quick start template which is based on joomla 1.5 and i want to use some of those gavick extensions on either joomla 1.7 or 2.5. I have already downloaded the extension you indicated above but news show pro is different from gk news which enable one to present articles organized in section and categories and with drop down blocks with sections.

Och. Right. Gk news was designed for TWN 2009 only and developing has been dropped. So there is no version for 2.5

Is the gk news 1.5 extension still available for download? i have looked for it but i can't find it and the one i used was bundled with the world news template quick start. I will like to download it if the link to it still exist.Thanks

I believe You can find it inside TWN template's rest_files package.

You know what, and dont laugh at this "you are a genius"; you are absolutely right its right inside the rest_file package and it never occurred to me to check it out. I guess i am getting to know how things work on gavick and thank you for been patient with me.
