I'm using the Musicity template with Joomla 2.5 and i've noticed that my articles do not show up in the correct order. And no matter what settings I change, it is never right. Some details:

I want my articles sorted by date with newest articles first. And it does this except for one small problem. Instead of listing articles 5,4,3,2,1 it will list them all right but one: 5,4,2,3,1. On every page there is one article that is older than an article listed beneath it. This doesn't adhere to any of the sorting options so i'm not sure what it's doing. I've tried sorting by created and by published but nothing happens.

Based on different things i've read i've tried options in Shared Options for Category Order (both Catagory Order and No Order) and Most Recent First for both Created and Published. I've tried setting the order in the article data source to no avail. I've even tried setting the order manually using the order numbering column on the articles main page. No matter what I do, there is always the one article out of order.

So here's the interesting thing. If I go in to Article Manager and then Options, and go to the Category tab, I can use Choose a Layout and change from Blog to List. When I do this, the articles show up in List view in the correct order. So there must be something wrong associated with the blog view.

I've looked around and no one else seems to have this problem where one single article is out of order. I have several different article categories and it happens consistently in every one. I even went into the database and looked at the records to see if there was anything in there that could explain why it won't order correctly and have found nothing.

Please help. I've spent almost all my waking hours in the past week putting this site together and now it may go in the trash if this one little issue cannot be resolved.

Here is an example page:

http://washburnimage.com/rmcmusic/index ... g-up-metal

Notice that Part II is listed above Part III despite Part II being older. I just removed all five of these posts and added them again oldest to newest. While I was adding the ordering was fine for the first three, they displayed in the correct order. As soon as you add a fourth item, that second item jumps in front of the third.

This happens on other pages as well in the same position:

http://washburnimage.com/rmcmusic/index.php/ramblings

On this page Dec 27 jumps in front of Jan 11.

Thanks.

Hi

I do not see anything what could be causing it in our style for K2. The query ordering it is inside K2 itself. But I've noticed that it can be connected with K2 category settings. Please send me an access to joomla panel so I'll be able to confirm it.

Hi

I've found the issue. It was all about settings. Template design was made for one column of articles only (designer's privilage). So ordering in column was set to "down", but when all articles took 100% of the site than it looked like it was missordered.
