Hi,

I'm using image show gk4 to display 15 images via the partyfreak layout. The template is Pixellove running on Joomla 1.7.3.

All looks good in Firefox, Chrome and Safari but it's a no show in Internet Explorer 8. All I see is the loading animation.

After reading other posts I see there is no end of issues of trying to get the image show to work in IE. I have no other Gavick modules working on the site so not sure the mootools issue is valid on this one.

Could anyone please point me to the solution as the only reason I subscribed to Gavickpro was for this template and module and too many people use IE8 to leave them out.

Many thanks,

Andrew

Hi Konrad,

Yes, I'm using the latest version. Here's the link to the website

http://www.dannyabrahamsart.com

and then you click on the image with 'Landscapes' on to open the Image show gk4 part.

Thanks for looking.

Just wanted to add that I've downloaded 3 other templates from my subscription and installed them hoping it would make a difference but the images are still a no show, just the continuous loading animation. I've also tried the module in numerous positions.

No one else out there had this problem with IE8? I could understand perhaps a CSS issue that we are used to getting with anything shown in Internet explorer but to not even be visible is a little odd.

Thanks.

Yoooo Hoooooo.............. anyone there or do I have to pay more to get an answer? All I want is for your product to show in Internet Explorer :? As much as I don't like IE most businesses use it as their default browser so I can't ignore it.

The client actually laughed when I told them I couldn't get it show which was a little embarrassing. I've now had to replace it with the free sigplus module which works fine just to keep them happy.

i dont know if anybody found a solution for this or not. I'm having the same issue with Image Show GK4.

Here is more info about the problem:
I found out when i have one or two slides everything works fine with the module but when i add more slides like 3 or 4 it will stop working on IE. I don't know what could cause this problem but i hope there a solution for it.

another update.

I unpublished all the slides and re publish them one by one and now it would work on IE!
sometimes it works for couple of days and breaks after that.
