Registration - Profiles 1.7

Hey
I wish to gather profile information when someone registers which at present is not available with the mod_gk_register (unless I am missing something).
Is there a way we can access the profiles xml (it appears that the module is calling the register xml from the com_users) or any other way of incorporating the profile information into mod_gk_register.
I like the way the mod_gk_register comes with the lightbox and would like to use it.
Your assistance is appreciated.

I'm not sure if I understood You right, but register is a normal module position so You can place anything there and it will open in this popup.

If I create a normal Joomla link to the registration form after enabling the joomla registration profile plugin there are extra fields available for the user to input information i.e. address, city, country etc.
With the mod_gk_register these fields do not show. Is there a way I can incorporate these fields into the module?

Hi

GK register module is the simpliest register form You may think of. It's not supporting this plugin. It can be modified, but the part to save additional information in database will require understanding of this plugin storage so it may not be simple. I think easier would be to use a module displaying an iframe and show a page with joomla standard register form.
