How can I test the different layout versions on my desktop browser?

I need to update the layouts for mobile, etc, but I need to see them on my firefox browser so that I can use Firebug to analyze things.

Is there a way to call them?

Goto the Template Settings in the backend ans set the default layout to one of the mobile devices.
If you have the Web Developer extension in firefox you can set the window size to e.g. 960x640.
