trouble with header mod on ICKI template

hi,

i have a banner module that runs code in the header1 position to run a 3rd party slideshow. it works fine on IE8/IE7 but does not work on FFox, Safari.

i'm kind of new to Joomla but have learned a lot in the past few weeks. any reason why this may be happening?
