ICKI - Adding Sidebar to Articles

Guys,

Once again, I come to you asking a question. I'd like to first tell everyone that I am thoroughly impressed with everyone for providing their input and assistance on this forum.

I am trying to add the right side bar to my articles. What is the proper way to do this and will it corrupt the article...using Joomla 1.5?

I think you just have to add a module wich you want and assign it to the position 'right'. Then select the menuitems wich contains the link to the article(s) and after saving it have to show up on that particular page.

I've tried this. When I ad items to the right, when you view an article the text continues to run behind the side modules. How do I stop the text from continuing to run behind the modules?
