problem editing/adding menus in admin

Hi guys

Recently installed corporate 1 template, keep getting the following error when I go to edit or add a new mnu item:

Fatal error: Call to a member function getElementByPath() on a non-object in /home/hsphere/local/home/svision/sheltonvision.co.uk/administrator/components/com_menus/models/item.php on line 656

Ive tried replacing the whole com_menus folder with an orignal joomla directory one but still no joy.

Any ideas?

Hi

Please update joomla to the latest version. If this problem occurs in panel than it has to be a joomla issue.
