Car Magazine Module Variation

Hello,

In the car magazine template is there a way to remove the borders and the light colored background image in any specific module?

I want to add a banner in the banner 3 position across the page but when I add it it has the borders around the image which makes it look like a box inside another box. I want it to look flush on the page with no borders but just for this specific module. I don't want to do this on all the modules throughout the site just the one for the banner.

Any suggestions?
