i have a problems i use mootols upgrade 1.2 with joomla 1.5.20 for kunema 1.6

but mootools 1.2 don't works with your composant ?

and i have this message in kunema

In the next months we are going to impose support for this framework version (MooTools 1.2.4) gradually in our templates and products (mainly in GK Tools from GK4 series). For now, it only support Mootools 1.11.

Joomla now has moved onto Mootools 1.2.4 for both J1.5 and in the upcoming J1.6
Kunena is now running on Mootools 1.2.4 so it is needed to provide support for Mootools 1.2 asap.

I signed up to use your templates now only to find that it doesnt work with mootols 1.2 turned on. The mega menu doesnt work

Joomla!1.5.20 have mootools upgrade support, by enable "System - Mootools Upgrade" plugin. So MegaMenu works fine if you disable this plugin.

Joomla!1.6 is not yet for live working projects, but we assure you that we are taking necessary steps to prepare our projects to J!1.6 with less problems possible.

About Kunena 1.6 is RC1, so it's not yet stable.

Kunena is now RC2 and will be stable very shortly as well as Joomla 1.5 including the mootools upgrade plugin and Joomla 1.6 stable just around the corner. I do not want my template holding me back from upgrading. [...] have already updated all their templates and extensions to be compliant with Mootools 1.2.4 and [...] are as well.

Joomla has taken this path and developers like Kunena have switched from jquery to mootools. This is a sensible option, as it is less javascript to load if you utilise the core joomla code. I think making all templates work with this is important and urgently needed as more extensions will be changing soon and the less jquery and mootools 1.1 the better.

Im with peetree21, KunenaRC3 its almost ready and we cant make any test or install from our website couse we choose yours templaste...

You say the next mounth, then we have to buy another 120 days just for download a update...

I buy the suscripcion yesterday... i will like my money back and went you update yours templaste ¨maybe¨ i get the suscription.
