Hello:

While using Firefox and Chrome we've been getting a message stating that my website does not supports IE6 (something along those lines, we get it in Spanish). I don't care for IE6 users but we're getting those messages while, like I mentioned before, we're using Firefox and Chrome. Of course the page is all messy as if we were using IE6. Any idea about how to solve this? Attached an image of the problem in Firefox. We're using the latest The News II template.

Hello,

I'm using Firefox and Chrome to check the site but I'm not seeing the problem. This is what I see http://easycaptures.com/fs/uploaded/531/4353453315.jpg

Thanks for the reply, Mr. Lee. The problem is intermittent as it has been reported in other posts. All of a sudden Chrome just gets into IE6 mode. Since the only way I found to fix it is to clear every possible cache I've been thinking that it is related to the cache.

Maybe when someone using IE6 surfs my page something gets cached that is triggered by the next person who gets to the page regardless of browser. I'm just speculating, of course, I have no idea what triggers this but it makes enough sense to consider it.

Hi,

I think you are right, if it just happens sometimes then it's technically related to cache system exactly like what you have explained. I will need to contact with our development team to discuss about this to improve our cache plugin to avoid caching when errors happen...

I'm sorry for the inconvenience and will get back to update you soon if I have any news.

Cheers,
