Hi there,
I am using the Creativity template on Joomla 2.5.14 and I want to put a Google map in gkBottom2 on 100% width. If I use Widgetkit map it does not work on the frontpage, it does on other pages. Same with the Googlemaps plugin from Mike Reumer. I did install JQueryEasy, that solved it for the other pages but not on the frontpage. Anyone any idea?

Could You please post an url to your site when one of google maps modules is active?

Ok, when it will be online please write back in this thread. Probably You need simple css override to make overlapping element 100% width.

Hi there, I have placed the site online.

http://plantage.de-plantage.nl/

As you can see the map on the home page is not showing.

But when you go to:
http://plantage.de-plantage.nl/portfoli ... -koop.html

The map is there. The module is now set to show everywhere on bottom 2.

Any idea what keeps the map from showing on the frontpage?

It seems like lazyload is messing with serttings. Please try to disable it in template settings features section.

Hi, thanks for your reply... But I don't think there is a switch "Lazyload" on the creativity template. Or am I missing something?

Sorry, I have wrongly intepreted a module name.
Just to be sure - could You change template back to Beeze and check if map loads well?
Also, please past here the exact code You have placed in module.

Ok, I have checked it more carefully:
http://plantage.de-plantage.nl/media/wi ... yloader.js
this file causes JS error. It comes from yootemplate and is not part of our template.
They have some discussion about the problem, but I'm not sure if it applies:

Hi Cyberek,
Thanks for your help. I had installed jQueryEasy, but when I adjust it to load the jQeury lib the map on the frontpage does load. The downside is that I loose the nice hover effect on the portfolio images...
So is that the conflict? Can I get that working to?

It might be the conflict between different versions of jQuery loaded by our template and jQueryEasy, but sadly there is no way to deal with that easy, and we don't support 3rd party plugin issues :(.
I would suggest to load the map without any additional libraries.

But there is no way to install either google map plugin on the frontpage of the creativity template. I mean when I disable jQueryEasy I can't get a googlemap plugin working on the frontpage (from widgetkit or Mike Reumer). So there must be something wrong on the frontpage of the creativity template that conflicts with Googlemaps. Can you get a googlemap working on a clean install with creativity?

With implementing the map basing on google documentation - everything works fine.
Sadly - we don't support problems with 3rd party plugins that conflicts with our solutions :(.
