Referring to your question and my answer in another thread.

1) By default logo is linked to homepage.
2) Code you will find here: gk_creativity\layouts\blocks\logo.php
3) Yes it's possible to change or use your own module instead our static code. I wrote about it week or more ago.

In most pages logo redirects to homepage - its kind of standard, and users expect that behave.
Where You would like the logo to link to?

TPL_GK_LANG_LOGIN="Log In"
