Magazine - Javascript error

I am building new site using your Magazine template. I have only installed one third party component from Www.joomla.digital-peak.com called DPCalendar. I have not been able to get their component running and following correspondence with them, they identified a JavaScript issue with the template:

There is a javascript error in the template which makes DPCalendar crash. Can you report the following error to the template creator
TypeError: base.getElements is not a function in base.getElements(gk_selector).each(function(el){ in the file gk.menu.js (line 42)
