Hi

Please check if You have a typography button plugin installed and published, also if typograpy is enabled in template settings. If You do not have this plugin than try download rest files package.

Hi

Sorry, no idea why it's happening. Please send me an access to joomla panel. I'll see. Maybe I've attached wrong plugin version or something.

Hi,

I'm getting the same error message when displaying the plugin "JFolder::folder : Path is not a folder. Path : /x/x/x/htdocs/joomlaDStemplates" where joomla is the root folder of my site

It's a new installation with only : Joomla! 3.0.3, GK News 3.8 and plugin GK Typography 1.0.2 from the News rest files.

According to the error, it seems the problem is with DS which is no longuer supported, there is a definition of DS in gk_typography.php but may be it is not enough.

Hope you can quickly correct this problem.

Hi again,

To try finding a solution I have added the following code at the beginning of the file typooverride.php (just after the line defined('JPATH_BASE') or die;):
Code: Select all
if(!defined('DS')){
   define('DS',DIRECTORY_SEPARATOR);
}

With this modification, the typography plugin works fine for me.

Best regards,
Rajoz

Hi

This problem is present if You have installed a plugin for J2.5 version. When You will use a J3.0 plugin everything should be ok.

Hi

This is just impossible. I've extracted this plugin from a website where it worked just fine. Please send me an access to Your joomla panel. I'll try myself.

Hi teitbite,

I've tried with 4 typography plugins from your previous post, gk_news_rest_files_J!30.zip, gk_magazine_rest_files_J!30.zip and gk_simplicity_rest_files_J!30.zip.

The result is always the same error. That's look normal as all these 4 plugins are absolutely identical : I've compared all the files.

To continue my tests, I have done exactely the same installation from scratch (Joomla! 3.0.3 + GK News + plg typography) on my production website and on my test website. The plugin doesn't work on production and works on test. There is a difference on PHP version which is 5.4.12 on production and 5.3.21 on test.

The only solution I've found for my production website, as indicated in a previous post, is to define DS in typooverride.php

Rajoz

Hi

This is really strange. Normally DS issue means that a plugin installed is for a joomla 2.5. So I believe this may be an old plugin attached to rest_files package, but the one I gave You is taken directly from working J3.0 copy, so it's tested as You can call it. Please use the solution You have came up for now. I'll talk to programmers and will try to figure out what is happening.

Hi Valentino,

What is your PHP version ?

Did you try the patch I proposed in a previous post as work-around for the DS problem in typooverride.php ?
