Joomla Boutique Template Homepage Slideshow

Hi,

I have a problem with the Jooomla Boutique QuickStart template. I downloaded and installed it successfully. However, Whenever I change the images of the slides at the homepage and save, when I refresh the homepage, the whole homepage turn white an d nothing is displayed. How do I fix that?

Also, how exactly do I change the GKDemo images in the slideshow and put my own images?

NB: I was changing the images in the module manager, particulary the GK4 Slideshow...

Please disable image show module and check whether the site come back to live. If yes it is definitely module issue and then we can find a solution.

I did disabled the image show module and the site came back, but if I enable it again, the site disappears.

Also, before doing what you told me, I cleared all files and uploaded a new quick start package. After doing so, I went to the image show module and changed the images and it worked great. However, after browsing the website for a minute or so, the homepage vanished and the screen was all white.

I was wondering if maybe I could give you my admin log in info so that you could check for me the problem and help me fix it.

Please try to remove all slides from Image Show module then add one for test only. Probably one of the slides is causing this problem.

Hi thanks for the reply. I already figured it out. The GK 4 Image show module that comes with the quick start is not updated so I had to download the latest version and guess what! it worked smoothly and perfectly. Before that, it was crushing 'cause it was the outdated version installed.

Probably some files during quick start install were corrupted. Hope now everything will be fine. Anyway I'll test the quickstart package.
