K2 is not supported currently by the Meet Gavern template. When we will add support for K2 then we will talk on this forum about potential bugs

So Meet Gavern don't ready to work with 3rd party extensions?
Only with core joomla components like com_content?

No, it means that it isn't tested with the K2 component. With complex components like K2 sometimes it is necessary to add additional code or libraries, you cannot extrapolate this fact for all extensions

Unfortunately Meet Gavern is prepared for Joomla! 3.0 and higher only and we have no plans to release version for Joomla! 2.5.

It's hard to say, what features are more important...
I thinks K2 is VERY popular component and all your templates use it as core component...
I can't begin my next project only because perfect template Meet Gavern don't work with K2...
This is very sad...

K2 Support, support for few other extensions and very important changes for the template back-end will be released after Joomla! 3.1 release. We have plans to release the new version in march with Joomla! 3.1 but after moving the joomla! 3.1 release, we have moved our deadline too.

Will you fix style problems whth k2 images - they use class="modal" and images in k2 items displays in popup window?

You can start your work, but you will have to compare all your modified files with the new ones after upgrade using the Github repository.

When we add the support for K2 extension we surely fix issue with modal boxes, probably now there is some JavaScript error which block the modal window.
