Restaurant Template Internet Explorer Image issue

Hi!

Restaurant template:
If I change the images in the gk header area (the original gk custom html module) to png images these images appears with black border around them in Internet explorer 8 (with or without compatibility view)

These images are not links, just images. And only in the header area (on the black board where the Welcome text is)

It is not viewable in your demo page, because it has black background. As soon as you change the background to a light one this problem shows up.

Only in IE8 . Looks OK in IE9

Any solution to this one.
