can't open any article...

Good Day/Night guys,,,

i'm having a problem with the corporate2 quick start .... not sure if it have something to do with the template or not.

whenever i create a new article i can't reach it not from the "latest new module" and even the "Read More" button did not work. it just again the same page "Home" and that's all

and i found that it change the url like:

/index.php/27-main-main/45-electronics-a-home-appliances

while it should be like "/index.php/main/electronics-a-home-appliances" i thought it's a SEF problem so i turned it off, but didn't help, still having the same problem....

i deleted all the Categories and articles and started creating all again.... but the same story again... not working,,,

Have any one had this problem before or know what's wrong? or even have any idea for better trouble shooting?

Please in template parameter change "Show mainbody on frontpage" to ON.

i think that's what u mean ,,,
it's now

Main Body - FrontPage = Mainbody only
Main Body - subpages = Mainbody after component

and not working too.

update,,,

i have installed the quick startup again "fresh copy",,, every thing working fine, but when i created a Category, and Article ... only this article have the problem,but not the articles included in the quick start.

The problem was setting this template's option (see image).

If You want to display this articles in a new window not on the frontpage You need to reorganize menu. The best solution for that is to create a new menu and adding there every category for articles which is not used in the mainmenu.
