How Do I Decipher TPL_GK_LANG_LOGOUT?

I reinstalled The News II and added the "%s" to the language ini - but now admin messages now appear in cryptic form. For Instance, Instead of "Blue" the template options page shows some bizarre code. How do I switch back the codes so they again appear in English?

Sorry I don't get you. Can you please clarify?

BTW, the string can be found to translate in \language\en-GB\en-GB.tpl_gk_twn2.ini

I knew it was a language file. What threw me was it wasn't in the language directory -- but the template directory. I moved it to the correct spot and it is working now.
