Hello guys,

I'm wondering if it's possible to display news with NSP GK4 like in http://www.joomlart.com/demo/#templates ... teline_iii ?
I've made a website with that template a year ago, but it's news module is damn slow and it makes >100 queries to the database. So I am looking for a replacement. Any suggestions would be useful :)

Hi

Sure it can be done, unfortunately this will require a customization work to the css. Unfortunately we do not support such works.

But if You need it badly than You can contact me in private and I'll make it for a small fee.

Is it possible to do this only with css, with javascript turned off in the module settings? I have doubts about more articles links.

Hi

With JS off You won't be able to use the pagination, and sliding effect but sure it can resize on hover.

I don't need any animation. When I turn of JS, links that should be in three columns are displayed in a single column. Is there any way to show them in three columns?

Hi

In module parameters You have a section Links View. Please set there to show 3 columns.

I know that, but with JS turned off links are shown in one column instead of three. Take a look at the attached picture.

Hi

Don't need to disable js module.
You just need to set this configuration on Links block:

Amount of pages with links: 1
Amount of links: 9
Amount of links columns: 3

That's it.

Even if pagination is enable, since you set only 1 page to be seen, pagination will not be displayed.

Cheers ;)

I know that with JS enabled it is shown normally, but my question was if it is possible to do this with JS turned off? :)

I'm afraid not.
Amount of columns and their respective width are calculated by using js support.

But why do you want to disable js?
Do you have problem with between scripts?

While the page is loading the links are being displayed in one column. They are being split in to three columns only when the page is fully loaded. Is there any way to overcome this?
