Can't enable thumbnails, screen goes blank, 500 error

As soon as I enable Create Thumbnails, both for Joomla and K2 content, the whole screen goes blank or throws up a 500 error.

Weird thing is, on the home page where I have one NSP GK4 v3.0.0 module enabled, I have thumbnails off, and the thumbnails are displaying (Joomla content).

This issue is in addition to my thread 89-news-show-pro-gk4/86867-arrows-appear-as-grey-boxes.html

Hi

I'm sending this to programmers. In the second thread I asked for FTP access, because the css files are unwritable via panel.

Hi

Programmers told me that common problem was solved simply by setting permissions to 777 on module cache. Please make sure if it's set like this.
