Upgrading from older versions?

Sorry if this is not the right place to post on this but I didn't see a relevant topic. We currently have PhotoSlide GK2 and are wanting to upgrade to GK4. The documentation doesn't address upgrades that I have seen but I'd like to know if we can merely install GK4 over the top of GK2 or do we have to completely remove GK2 first. I'd hate to lose everything I published to what we have already but I guess I just need some direction as to the best way to go about this. Any help is greatly appreciated!

there is unfortunetly not an easy way to upgrade..

you can have both gk2 and gk4 at the same time...

my way would be to install both, and then set it up from scratch, and when the outcome is perfect, replace the old.

oh and with any other updates i recommend a backup BEFORE you start :)
