If you want to show your module only one section choose only the section which you want to show it. go to Extensions->Module Manager->News Show GK4 and at down in Menu Assignment, choose your menu.

Tkanks teitbite.

I succeeded but, i want to show this module only in the first page of section, for example:

- mywebsite.com/latest-phones - show GK4 module (in this step the GK4 module will show a list with latest phones from Nokia, HTC ... etc.) and when a visitor clicks on a photo from category (Nokia, HTC..) i want this module to disappear.

- mywebsite.com/latest-phones/nokia/ - remove the GK module

I show you a photo example.

I've tryed do this (Show frontpage/featured items = enabled) but i don't see any change. Here's what i did, if there's anything else i forgot to do please let me know.

My frontpage for this section should be: "mywebsite.com/latest-phones/"

Thanks!

Hi

Please use menu attachment options at left bottom of the module settings and set it to "Home" only.

I do not understand. I want to show this module in Latest Phones not in Home page!

From what you said, you should put the module in the bottom left and just set it on "Home"?

I do not want that ... I want to show this module only in mysite.com/latest-phones, like the pictures from above. I want to show with GK4 module more categories, but only in mysite.com/latest-phones.

Hi

Sorry for mentioning Home, I thought You wanted it on that page.

And no. I'm not asking You to put it in left bottom corner but to use "Menu attachment" in every module's left bottom corner and set only the page You want to place it at.

Hi

Please go to Joomla Panel. Click to Extentions->Modules and choose this module. Now in the bottom right corner in "Menu Assignment" please choose "Select Menu Item(s) from the List" and select only this one option from menu. Save changes.

Please also notice that the article which You are linking to need to have it's own menu item attached otherwise it's gonna open on the same page You have putted the module.

It's possible that an article don't have it's own menu item and show it ? Don't show the same page i have putted the module ?

Thanks

Hi

Yes it's possible, but You still need to have a single menu item to articles category or section.

I still don't understand how to do this.

What type of menu items do I need to make for Home and for News (2 menu items as you mentioned above)

And in the module, how would I display the news in the Home, but when I click to a single article, it will display it in a different page?

Thanks and sorry for the misunderstanding.

Hi

It's all about good menu structure. You need to have a menu type of section or category view of articles from the section group shown in NSP module.
