Hello Gavick Team,

With the use of template postnote and the module NewsShowPro GK4 the following error.

Error message:

Unable to open '/xxxx-site-xxxx/modules/mod_news_pro_gk4/cache/k2.items.cache.c82cc4e14a1d2c8c8ffff9840d24b558_Lnsp_35.jpg' for writing:
Permission denied in /xxxx-site-xxxx/modules/mod_news_pro_gk4/gk_classes/gk.thumbs.php on line 226

the error refers to images in a K2-item.... the images in the text in a K2 item article are refreshed correctly

When I delete the images in], with FTP-programm: mod_news_pro_gk4/cache/ then there is no error.

Also in the K2 items not possible to add immages

René

Hi

It's absolutely necessary to have ../cache/ directory on module NSP with 777 permissions.
Please change this permissions.

Cheers ;)

Hi I also have same error with Black and White Template,

Warning: imagejpeg() [function.imagejpeg]: Unable to open '/**mysite**/modules/mod_news_pro_gk4/cache/k2.items.cache.e31ace2a15a7c70645ad83df9ecd43b0_Lnsp_152.jpg' for writing: Permission denied in /**mysite**/modules/mod_news_pro_gk4/gk_classes/gk.thumbs.php on line 226

I have changed permissions of cache folders in NSP Module as you suggested here, but error still persists all over front end of site ???

Please help.

Hi

Please change the permissions also on the files inside this folder. Maby script is trying to overwrite something. Check also 777 permissions.

Yes, Great Thanks!

Changed the permissions of all the items in ../cache/ directory on module NSP GK4 to 777 as well, and that fixed the issue.

Great help... keep up the good support!
