I've verified that I have that we have the GD library. However the module will not scale the thumbnails as it should, instead it distorts/stretches the picture even though "stretch" is off and "Keep Aspect Ratio" is on.

I've got v2.3 installed.

Hi

The problem is that thumbs are not working at all, what You see is the size set via css. I'm sending this to our programmer.

Thanks,

Yes I had to use CSS to get it to do what I thought the parameters should do.

I have used the CSS to accomplish this. I'm not sure when this started (which version) I know somewhere in the ver. 2 series it stopped performing along with the information items. I also noticed that inside the module admin panel, it shows version 2.1 even though I completely deleted the module folder and reinstalled the most current version, 2.4 I believe. I will hang tight until I hear back from you guys.

Thanks for checking into this for us.

Hi

I got some info from our programmer. Please try to remove the NSP module's template style files. You will find it in /html folder. Probably the aspect ratio was recoded for this template especialy.

I did as instructed, and the selected "information" now appears as expected, "category, authors name, date, etc." However nothing appears to work with the image aspecting. The background color doesn't show, and images sizes don't appear to be affected by what ever settings I try.

I've tried:
"create thumbnails" on
"keep aspect ratio" on
set width "200" and height"190"..... the module doesn't respect any of those settings. I've tried multiple combinations of settings, I even turned off half of my plugins, put the module on a page by itself, and same result..

I'm having similar problems as howhite. The settings jut don't seem to work like they once were. And some very odd things happen when I tinker with them.

Somehow related to this issue is the Image Float Position parameter. If I choose 'none', the image is displayed MUCH different than if I choose 'left' or 'right'. Much more difference than simply the float position. The image may get MUCH larger or smaller depending on the float position.

I would sure like to see this issue resolved. I'm getting by okay, but I'm living with image displays that are far from optimal.

About the issue of thumbnails, please don't forget to set cache to "0" before making any changes on images parameters.

I have tested the latest version and can't find any problem related.
