Hello,
For our website we use the template Coolfoto. We have been using News Pro GK1 and it works perfectly. We have a lot of pages built with News Pro GK1 (mainbody and inset positions).
We have installed K2 component to setup a blog in our website. We have decided to install News GK Pro GK4 but it is not running at all. We have a bar displayed and that is it.
We followed all the instructions provided in the PDF file explaining how to customize the product but we are not able to run the product. We tried to set up GK4 using the example provided on the page 25 of the documentation.

We have chosen the position main body and as you see there is a bar displayed and nothing else.
We use intensively News GK1 and it works perfectly.
Here are our question:
-is News Show Pro GK4 can run with News Pro GK1 in the same website?

NSPGK1 and NSPGK4 works together just fine. The problem with Coolfoto template is that GK4 was not present while this template was being made and there is simply no style to display it right. You can try to copy the styles for it from one of templates supporting it. You will find the code at gk_stuff.css but it still may need some work to make it work correctly. I suggest to stay with NSPGK1 till Coolfoto will not be converted to T3 framework.

now I understand clearly the situation. It was so confusing to me and I spent a lot of time trying to understand the behavior. I do not have the knowledge to make Coolfoto working with GK4. I di not understand the meaning of the last sentence: are going to make Coolfoto working with GK4 or not?

So we will wait the new version.
We have started to use K2 and this a great component to layout articles. Coolfoto is the best template we have found so far to show our work. We spent 13 worked days to set up our new website and we have no choice. I hope that it will be soon. I hope not to be the only user in that situation because it will help to make the modifications.
Keep doing the great job. It is a pleasure to work with you.
