Hi everyone,

Wondering if anyone came across this in IE7 where the news show pro GK4 module explodes and all of the articles that are supposed to be animated are just displayed at once. The toggles/arrows to switch between articles don't work either. Anybody have an idea on why this could be happening? The module works fine in firefox and the other browser but breaks on IE.

Thanks

thanks the site is 2getsavvy.com/jbs and it is the "issues" module on the right column. If you look at it in IE it doesn't operate for some reason.

The NSP module is the issues module on the right hand column on the frontpage on the top.

For me the module isn't work, because you have some script errors in IE7, but it seems normally even without scripts.

you should see whats happening now.. those script errors were from qtip which i commented out for now. what happens to the NSP module is that it explodes and doesn't let you navigate between the different articles. You should be able to see what i'm talking about now in IE7

Your problem isn't connected with the module but with the content. You must remove:
Code: Select all
position:relative;

from ".issues_right_wrapper" elements

thanks a ton dziudek. I never would have thought the position: relative was causing that so I really appreciate you looking into this for me. I changed the position: relative CSS and it fixed the problem.

Sorry for reopening this issue, but the solution posted here hasn't solved my problem, which is similar.

On my page, the other stories that are supposed to scroll horizontally into the module appear to the right of the page. This only happens in IE7.

The only div that is spec'd as "relative" is the one that contains the module. When I turn off "relative," it breaks the layout of the module, but the hidden articles remain visible to the right.

You can see for yourself at midhae.pair.com/randy270/art270new/

Thanks for your help.

Thanks for taking a look for me.

But as often happens, in the time I was waiting for an answer, I figured it out for myself. There was indeed a div element marked "relative" where it wasn't needed.

Very nice module, btw.
