Comment number not populated on frontpage

On the frontpage where it shows the author, comments, hits etc, although there are some comment being made, it still shows as comments(0). I am using Jcomments system.

Kindly suggest.

It is a little bit strange that it shows amount of comments, because in case with JComments it shouldn't (it should show amount of comments only for K2). But don't worry - version 2.0 will have support for JComments and will show amount of comments also for JComments.
