I've installed News Show Pro and the titles, photos, captions and read more buttons display properly, but when I click to read the article, the article opens on the home page, instead of it's own window.

Then, if I add the K2 module to the main body, the links don't work at all.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance with any help you can be

Hi

Mainbody is restricted for content only. So there is no other place where this articles can be displayed. Also some content do not show when is a module placed in mainbody already.

So, is it possible to display the new as sown on the demo or not? As i get it under the module and not on his own page.
I would be grateful is somebody gives me a solution!
Thanks in advance!

Hi

It all depends on the template. Can I see Your site.

I have the same problem and also same need for an answer.
I am using GK twn template and the GK4module in 'top up" position. There is no other content on page (for test purposes) and neither the title or the read more will open the article in a new page.
What positions in twn template will the NewsShowPro GK4 work in? What is the secret to getting this to work? I have to feel that it must be something simple but it is certainly not obvious.
Since there are quite a few people struggling here perhaps a more detailed explanation of how to get it to work would save a lot of frustration. If you have already explained a link to the explanation would be appreciated

Thank You

Hi

I didn't noticed that You have set NSP4 module in mainbody for all pages than there was no place to show the article. Please use diffrent position instead.

Thank you, that solved part of the problem. Now it is showing BUT it shows under the read more/teaser text..that is, it shows on the same page. Where do I arrange for it to open in it's own page ?

Thanks

I need to implement this module as a matter of urgency. I realize that there are many calls on GK time but this might be an easy yes/no one.

Let me put it this way in case it helps a quick answer. Can you say,

1. YES, it is possible to make the "read more" link open in it's own page.
OR

2. NO it is not possible to make the "read more" link open in it's own page.

Quick pointer to where that is done, if the answer is YES.

Somewhere in these forums I saw a comment that it could be adjusted in the module for NSP GK2 but I cannot see, despite hours of searching where that is. Any hints ?

Hi

Yes You can use NSP to show article, but please remember not to attache it to all pages. Use for example frontpage only and than the NSP will not show on the article view page.

Hi, i have a similar problem with the articles on the page below. Of the three articles, two click through to article pages, but one doesn't

http://pillarsports.com.au/index.php?op ... &Itemid=95

Same on this page where no articles click through:

http://pillarsports.com.au/index.php?op ... &Itemid=61

Hi

Please be sure that NSP module is being attached to a propper pages. I believe that it's set for these where it's displayed also. Other thing is the position. Publishing it inside mainbody may occur that the article won't be show.

This is unfortunate as all other positions within the page look completely different to the layout i have now. Why doesn't it work properly in the mainbody position? :(

Hi

Probably because the content has diffrent style than the positions. You can easily change it using css.

Hi, is it possible for you to provide me with more direction? How can I adjust the CSS to make this content link through to article pages?

Thanks

Hi

This isn't possible with CSS code. You just should remove NSP from mainbody and the article will be shown instead the NSP on the site.
