Change animation of news show?

Hi guys, just wondering if it's possible to change to the animation of news show pro, from "slide" to "fade" ? Can't see anything in the settings...desperately need this functionality, is there a way I can do it?

Right now I am trying to change the animation direction from "left to right" to "up to down".
Is that possible?
