Hi,

I couldn't find an answer in the FAQ or the Help template file. How do I upgrade any Gavick tool from one version to another?

Do I have to uninstall the older version and set up the new version because they will be treated as different modules? So I'll have to for instance set up new News Pro modules.

Is that correct or is there a way to just update all the old modules at once by just installation?

Thanks,

Faraz

Like Dziudek said, NSP GK1 and GK4 are completely different modules and have they own updates.

About instructions on how to update, when you check the update page you will always find instructions to update.

For instance, here's a screenshot of News Show Pro GK4 v1.7 page:

Simple ;)

when I want to upgrade from "NSP 1.0" to "NSP 1.7" I would replace (mod_news_pro_gk4.xml) with the new (mod_news_pro_gk4.xml) and (helper.php) with new helper.php and go to joomla language folder and replace the (en-GB.mod_news_pro_gk4.ini) with the new ( one ) ????

Is this true or not ?????

No. If you make upgrade from version 1.0 I recommend to upgrade all files in the module directory and of course replace language file ;)

just copy these files. of course you haven't to upload cache and language directories.
