NSP GK4 Showing 2 articles

I think I've tried every setting there is but it makes no difference, so in the search for help I thought I would ask here.

The 'testimonials' and 'case study' modules in the middle are showing 2 articles instead of just the first... is there a way to stop this?

Nevermind. Found it under "First News Number". Doesn't really explain itself well, but it actually means 'number of news items'.

I actually take this back, it's not fixed and still shows up the moment I put more than 1 other article within the same category.

Does anyone know a way to stop this happening?

"First News Number" is more like from which element from the list it should start, so if You would like to see all please put there 0 or 1.

Is there a way of showing just the one article in the module, if its looking in a category where there are multiple articles?

Yes of course by selecting 1 row and 1 column and "Number of articles" to 0 in module settings.
