With Image and header set to float left the header appears under the image unless the header is small enough to fit on one line to the right of the image.

Strangely if I also set the text to float left this wraps around the image with the header appearing in the middle of the text.

This has been seen on firefox and chrome, not tested on other browsers

can anyone help?

Not making the website with Pro GK4 just yet

follow www.bmyc.info to see with Pro GK1 and this screen shot with Pro GK4

The only apparent difference between how I have set these two up is the in GK4 the text is set at float:none but the heater and image are set at float left in both cases

It can be a lot of reasons - also connected with template styles. Could you provide us access to the website with the GK4 module ?

http://www.bmyc.info should now be showing the Pro GK4 module

I am using the default rhuk_milkyway (red) template on Joomla 1.5.18

I made a clean new install with the newest update that came with the GK4 component.

I have made som slight CSS changes , but only things that concern the logo and the menu, and some colors.

Hi

Now I understand :) That means that You will need to add to the language files something like this:

Code: Select all
NSP_PREV=<<
NSP_NEXT=>>

Hope it will work ;/

Hi

Please send me the access to Your site. I'll try to set it myself in configuration.

Maby it's not the bug I was expected.

Hi Thanks you.

I believe I managed to fix it somehow myself, by not using left Flow on the header, and messing with the CSS.

That way anyting can be done, I just wordered why it looked wrong with default settings :)

Hi

I have no idea. But I've setted it on some page and often option float:none was solving things :)

Please try that as well.

I have this issue as well,

no amount of tinkering with the float settings on header images, and text really prduced any satisfactory results.

some of my article images are skinnier than others so the text should wrap on the left...some are wider, so the text should wrap undert the image.

but no setting seem to make anything perfect looking...wiht too many floatsettings I get slide overlap.

I do not have a link to share.

any advice as to what to set my header image and text to to acheive these results?

my order
image---> header---> text---> read more

would like the image to be on the left, the header on the right and centered and the text on the right and aligned to the left.
then the read more below the text.

using NSP GK1 this was not an issue, however I did get overlap of the slides and text when going from a skinny images article to a wide image article.

My images arent all the same size in my articles..its impossible in the real world for that to happen when I have several authors and writers.

advice and tips on float vs text align would be helpful.

Hi

If setting do not make everything clear You can always overwrite a css to make what You want. I can help You with that, but unfortunately I will need to see Your site to do that.

Pleace also notice that NSP got its own cache so maby this needs to be clear too to see the changes made at the module settings.
