News Show Pro GK4 issue with Date ordering

Hello all

First of all, congrats for this awesome module, the admin interface is really impressive.

So my issue is that with settings for the articles selection like "joomla section" and "By date" with "Descending"

My last articles, I mean the most recent, are not showing up.
I got just some of my articles from the selected sections, but not the most recent.

I haven't this issue with News Show GK3.

I'm with joomla 1.5.17 on PHP 5.3.2

Could you tell me how do you define "most recent" articles ? Because I think that it is a problem with timezones on your server. For small example - if some article shows after i.e. 4 hours then it means that on your server you have other time than on your Joomla.

Yes I think you point the problem, because with the news show GK3, I got the timezone parameter, and so I can adjust it to get it to show my articles correctly.
So I missed this on the news show pro GK4

I'm forced to do that because I always got out of synch timezone when we change to summer time.

Do you think you could add this option/parameter again in the NSP GK4 ?

Yes - this option will be added in next major version of the News Show Pro GK4 module with all other suggested options.

You need to check the time of published you article, the module is ordering using the date and time, not using the ordering of raw ordering, check you database table com_content and check yourself..

this is not an ordering issue, but a non showing up issue for some of articles.
