Can you please edit module settings and check "configuration" for GD Library and PHP cURL functions.

In Joomla > News Show PRO GK4 module settings > Configuration Check.

not in the nsp 4, but if it appears in the NSP5: All is configured properly

Your GD library configuration, library cURL configuration and cache directory permissions are proper.

After few tests error is with K2 as if you look at the example menu I have done "Norman Test" which links to K2 item and does not show any modules it is still giving same error.

So my thought is when module trying to get K2 details it is giving the same error.

Module works fine when data source is set to Joomla articles or categories.

This needs further checks.

Can you please send me ftp and PhpMyAdmin details so I can check this further.

It would be really helpful if you'd share the resolution to the problem, or clarify that there has not been any resolution, instead of keeping it between yourselves in private messages. I am having the same problem (oops error 1146 every time I activate a module linked to k2 content) and would like to know what the problem is, and how I can solve it. Thanks

If I remember correctly users K2 component was not working properly.

Please open a new topic and add full error code as I believe error 1146 is a mysql error so I would need to see full sql code that is causing this error.

Hello NORMANUK,

I have the same problem with news gk4 and gk5 :-(

and News II template.
After I ve have installed it properly, I try to open the module in the backend, resulting in an error: Error: 1146
In the screenshot you can see maybe the problem.
