NSP v 3.3.6
Joomla 3.0.2
K2 2.6.2
Template: Publisher (problem also happens with Publisher Quick-start files)

Hi,

This is very similar to a problem others seem have encountered:

On the quick-start version of the template, new K2 articles (so those other than the ones included with the quick-start files) don't show-up in NSP in normal mode. In portal mode, new articles cause the site to return a "0 - Oops you've encountered an error" page.

The problem can be resolved by copying an existing quick-start article and overwriting the text and images - but this isn't really an elegant solution.

On the stand-alone version NSP will only return the first article in a category in Normal mode and delivers the same "0 - oops you've ecountered an error page" when in portal mode.

I've gone over the configuration several times and tried a number of re-installs and the issue replicates the same each time.

The Joomla 2.5 versions work perfectly, though :)

Any idea what the issue might be? I'm afraid I'm currently running the install on an offline server so can't provide access.

Thanks,

Mark.

Could you download the module again from our site and re-install it again ? If this will not help please provide me FTP details via PM with link to this forum thread.

Hi,

OK - so it's working fine (without any updates - nothing). I've literally changed nothing. Don't know if it was a cache issue or a problem with my server. Sorry for raising an unnecessary question.

Maybe it was some temporary problem with your database or simply browser/Joomla! cache issue.

I am having the exact same problems as Mark. On the exact same NSP and Joomla versions. Only this problem also seems to happen with normal Joomla articles (not K2 articles).

It really seems like an NSP and Joomla 3 bug... I hope it gets fixed soon.

Please try to download latest News Show Pro package and re-install extension. Please let me know about results - if this doesn't help I need some access details. Of course option 'Show only featured items' is disabled in your configuration ?

Hi!

I have the same problem with nsp and tabs in the Restaurant template. I can only show "old" articles, i.e. articles that came with the quickstart package. Have you come up with any soulution for this problem? (I have already downloaded the latest versions ocf NSP and Tabs.)

Cheers / Ante

Did you try to change time offset in module settings ? Articles are visible at front-end without any problems ?
