how to makes thumbnails in NSPGK4 independent

Hello! I have gk_coffe template, News Show Pro 4 worked in normal mode in tab of GK tabs 4. The source of news is joomla category "news", containes joomla articles whth pictures. NSP makes it`s thumbnails and refreshing them from time to time. The problem is I whant thumbnails were independent from any pictures in articles (I whant to do the thumbnails manualy). I`v tried to overwrite the thumbnails by FTP, but NSP cashing it only for some minutes, and than they overwrites again by croping pictures from articles. How can I do thumbnail in news independent from article picture?

If you're using NSP v.3.0 or higher then you can set the thumbnails using the following name: EXISTING_FILENAME_noscale.EXTENSION

so if you have an image generated as:

media.image.nsp212.jpg

you should create an image

media.image.nsp212_noscale.jpg

then this image will override the original image and won't be transformed by the module scripts.

Hi, dziudek! Thank you for quick response! Could you explain me, please:
I have two folders: (1)site/images/special and (2)site/modules/mod_news_pro_gk4/cache
In first folder i have original file of my source article (svetly.jpg), using in NSP module. And I have special.svetlynsp_88.jpg (thumbnail) in the second folder. Your advise is (as I`ve understood it) to put the thumbnail file special.svetlynsp_88_noscale.jpg in cache folder, isn`t it? So, I`ve tried to put it there whith special.svetlynsp_88.jpg , and overwrite special.svetlynsp_88.jpg by special.svetlynsp_88_noscale.jpg-no results. System refreshes the file special.svetlynsp_88.jpg from time to time...What`s wrong? May be I must do some settings in NSP moule interface, or anithing else?

The problem should be fixed now - there was a small bug in the our implementation

Great! What I have to do for fix it in my site?

Now it should work as I've described it earlier - with adding the _noscale suffix if you need to copy the working version to other installations please just copy the gk.thumbs.php class and layout.part.php file.
