Values in 'First news number' unconfigure Links Layout

When I put any value into 'First news number' box, then you can see how inconfigure Links Layout.

With 1 value into 'First news number', appear one pagination with one link more. And last pagination with another links.

With 2 value ... , appear one pagination with two links more. And last pagination with another links.

Are there solutions? I put 2 attachments with configuration.
