No Article to display - VM source

Hi

I have the famouse "No articles to display" error on my frontpage. Its quickstart esport template.

I use VM as source, and I'm using the quickstart setup with the module called "Newest products" on frontpage (gk_news 4). Everything worked fine. Untill I changed the website and VM languague, and added new products/categories.

Ive selected all the categories, and "must be featured" is not selected. It should show, but it doesnt.

Is it because the module requires me to re-install the module (gk_ news pro 4) because of my language change ?

What is default front-end site language ? Did you create products for this specified language ?

its a quickstart, so it was english.

But now the default languague is changed, and ive created 1 new product in the new default languague. So it should show that product in newest right?

Yes but make sure that the default front-end language and VM are the same.

So I think this maybe is because of quickstart being installed with english as default?

Let me remind that it works when everything is english, then it shows the demo products from quickstart.

But the new products which I have added in turkish (5 pieces) doesn't show when I pick turkish as default languague (see below).

So the module somehow only works with the default languague from demo/quickstart.

I really dont understand. This problem has been asked so many times, and its somehow related to multilanguage vm + nsp module.

But for some reason u keep solving this issue by accessing customers ftp, but you dont release any info on wiki or anything. It seem to be a very common problem.

Please make a sticky topic about how to solve this issue?

@makzed no we don't changed anything in module code but checking VM configuration, please send me details via PM. In every case the problem is with user configuration or with not up to date module, that's all.
