NSP GK4 fails to show K2 article author alias

Hi

I am currently using Joomla v2.5.6 and K2 v2.5.6 in combination with NSP GK4 v3.1.2.

My configuration is as attached.

The problem I am having is that the NSP Author Name "Alias" option doesn't work. In the news display the author name "administrator" is always shown with K2 items, irrespective of which option is chosen (native Joomla articles seem to display the alias OK).

Any ideas on how to solve this?

Hi Gleen,

I have got your PM already. This issue is a bug of the module, I have checked with our demo site and it happens the same so I have reported it to our development team to check further and fix for next version. I'm sorry I can't give you a quick fix now however I may give you some days later if I get any from our developers.

Hopefully it will be a simple fix, as the feature works fine with core Joomla articles.

I need to take the site live at the beginning of next week. Are you aware of any earlier versions of the module that works with K2? Looking at some old posts, this issue was reported as solved a while ago.

I'm not. However I don't think it's a big issue, the module still works well to show main content, and I believe the fix will be simple. I will get you updated!
