I've installed The World News II Quickstart and have upgraded NSP GK4 to 3.1.1. I've added some new articles that do not have images in the articles. I can not get the text of the articles to display in the primary large area of NSP GK4. The title and text appears in the smaller column to the right. I've turned off thumbnails and turned on text link and also set text limit to 250 but still no joy. Am I missing a setting?

You can alwAys set a default image to solve this problem. Please see our documentation to learn how to do it.

I looked at the documentation. I created a 50x50 pixel image and tried naming it;
default.mod_news_pro_gk4_157.png
default.newspro_157.png
default.157.png

and placed it in modules/mod_news_pro_gk4/cache and modules/mod_news_pro_gk4/cache/default
and it still does not show the text.

This is only happening in the Main NSP. The other newspro modules do work like I want without setting a default image.

Yes this one NSP style is specialy designed for this template.
Please try to copy the settings form a screen below as close as possible. Try also remove dot from default image name if it will not we working the way You have it now.
