Hey,

I was trying to install gavick news pro GK4 module onto a joomla 1.5 website. The problem is i keep getting Error! Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file in the package.

Is the extenstion compataible with 1.5? I dont think it is. And if it is not, where can i get the 1.5 version of the extension?

Thank you for your help.

Hi,

News Pro GK4 is available for Joomla 1.5 but somehow it's not listed. You can get it by downloading rest files package from Appsite template as well https://www.gavick.com/download/joomla- ... psite.html

Problem solved. Your package does not contain the usual "unzipfirst" phrase in the zip file name, but looks so it appears to be a straight component zip file.
