On my site (www.design3.com) homepage rotator using Gavick Image Show GK4 v 1.24 it looks like on the first run through clicking the image (not text) takes you to the URL of the last slide in all cases.

Subsequent rotations through the slides work fine and in all cases the text urls works fine but for some reason it has to hit the last slide before working properly throughout.

Any suggestions, fixes?
I'll investigate more...

Hi

Yes it looks like a bug. I've reported it to programmers.

Just for info, using "Rebuild" button in menus section in control panel corrects the links as well.

See you guys around...

Hi

This one is not about links at all. The problem is that slide is being hidden with opacity so it's transparent but still work 'cause it's on top.

Hi,

I'm using gk_game_magazine which has the same problem with the Image Show GK4.

After reading the previous posts, I've changed the 'Interface>Text animation type' to 'Left' and now it's working perfecty.

Hope this helps.

See you.

Hi

@dyamaguishi - yes that's also a solution, but opacity style should be working too.

@ncase - I got a contr question from porgrammer:
The module is updated to the latest one on Joomla! 2.5 and browser cache has been refreshed? Because I've fixed this problem in the module when we have released the Image Show .

I can see 1.25 version is available. Please reinstall it.

Hi teitbite,

I installed Image Show 1.25 and cleared cache, but it didn't work yet. Something stranger happened, though: on odd slides the '>' button links to another article (the one related to the next to last slide).

I'm using Chrome 18.0.1025.54 beta.

Same behavior on Firefox 10.0.2.

Tks

@teitbite - I updated to Image Show 1.25 but still am experiencing the same issue (cache cleared)
@dyamaguishi - That issue I am not currently seeing. I'm using Boutique template, maybe that is the difference.

Other animation types don't seem to help.
I turned off the 'slide links' to cause less confusion for visitors, but even then the ALT text of the slides pops up for the last slide and is obviously wrong.

Hi

I've already informed programmers when I was writting my last post here. I think I was pretty clear because I know where the issue is, unfortunately I'm not as good in javascript as I want to, so all we can do is to wait for module update.
