Hi,

This morning I update a site to the latest version of joomla (2.5.1) and the latest version of the module ( 3.0.1) and after this the thumbnails aren't visible anymore.

I check the module parameters and everything seems to be ok.

Any idea to fix this ?

Hi

Please try set permissions of 777 to module's cache folder. Let me know if this changes anything ?

Hi

That's odd. Because it helped some of other users, but what to do ? :) Please send me FTP access and joomla panel access to one of such pages.

Have You tried to add a slide one more time ? Maby the thumb was not created while permissions were ok.

I've already send it and waiting for any help!
Meanwhile i've updated News Show Pro to 3.0.2, but the problem persists!

If the data source of News Show Pro is changed to Joomla articles the thumb images are not visible.
With K2 articles as data source the thumb images are displayed correctly!!!!

Hi

I've recived 3 joomla accesse today without a link to the question, probably Your access is one of this mails. Ok. I see this is not a single case, so I'm reporting it to programmers.

Hi

The problem for me is solved, although there may be a bug in module when selecting "first image found in article" as source!

When I select "first image found in article" as the source of images the thumbs are created.

I don't understand the difference between the two option, but for me selecting "first image found in article" as source is a solution.

Thanks!

Semedo

Hi

Like I've said in You other post. The difference is that if there is no image inside article than when You pass the first one with settings there will be nothing to show. I believe that this was the bug from the start, that after the update module had no value for this new parameter.

Hi

Can You please try if changing back to the option You had before is working now ? I think this could be a problem that there were no option selected at all.

When i change back the option to "Use Joomla ! images" the thumbs aren't displayed, although there was more then one image in the article!!!

For me the ideal is have this option active to generate the thumbs from the first image in the complete article and not the image in the intro text, because in most situation the intro image don't have enough resolution and result in poor quality thumbs.
