Hello,

We are using New Show Pro GK4 for our site. It has been easy to create a professional looking site using this extension. We are using Joomla v 1.5.21.

As the editors have been hard at work publishing more and more articles we have noticed the page load times becoming increasingly long. Eventually IE displayed a warning message about the excessive load time. In the GK4 module, we would like to be able to have all of the articles displayed as pages with art, not just as links. It appears that GK4 loads all of the images for all pages with art, and marks the non visible pages with art with the CSS class "nsp_art unvisible". The native joomla category blog layout appears to only load the current page's images, and creates links to the non-visisible pages. This avoids the excessive load time.

Is it possible to setup the GK4 module so we can have all of our articles in a category (possibly hundreds!) displayed as pages with art without the crippling load times that we are seeing?

Thank you for any guidance!

Hello,

It has been 5 days since I posted this question. I see there have been a number of views but no responses. I don't mean to be impatient, but I wonder if I have offended the forum community, or if somehow the form of the question is preventing a response, or perhaps no one knows the answer. I see there have been responses to questions posted since mine. If the question is unclear, otherwise needs to be restated, or more information is required please let me know.

I would really like to use the GK4 module because it creates such a beautiful display of our articles. If I don't find some way around this problem, I will be forced to find some other way to display the articles. If anyone can suggest how to resolve this problem, I appreciate your help.

Thanks,

Charles
