SHow articles based on Location / geo tag

Hey guys,
I'm looking for a solution to show articles in the new module based on visitor's location i.e. read from IP similar way google does and/or the possibility to force the location selection of the user and then the the gk news show matching the selection with tag assigned to articles???
I'm just thinking out loud - but this is something I want to solve as I'm working on a site which will be local and global at the same time. Thanks a lot!

There is something called meta mod pro that you can use to display different modules based on geo location/ip address. You could create different instances of the News Show Pro GK4 and point them to the appropriate articles for that location. I'm assuming you could have a default set of articles for all other geolocations that falls outside of what you have content written for that you could set up as a catchall.
