Hi

I am a newbie and I have K2 articles like domain.com/news/articles/item/article1 and use NSP in home page to display the articles.
When I click on the links(title, thumbnail, 'ReadMore') of the NSP articles in hame page, it goes to a individual page like domain.com/component/k2/item/article1.
How can I make those NSP articke links to domain.com/news/articles/item/article1.
I use Joomla 1.7 and K2 2.5.1.
Thanks for your help.

Not yet though I was thinking to have one.
Oh, I see. So that's why?
But the page domain.com/news/articles/item/article1 shows and domain.com/component/k2/item/article1 are different.
The former shows the article under the category but the latter does the article page itself.
Anyway I will install SEO extension first.
Thanks for your advise.

Hi
Thanks, normanUK.
I installed AceSEF and now 'Read More'& other links show "domain.com/item/article1".(let's call it ReadMore)
But it's not the same as domain.com/news/articles/item/article1.(let's call it Item)
ReadMore exists as solo new page rather than categorised page.
Item is located under the category.
The same content exists as two different pages.
Anyway to solve this issue?
Thanks

Have you tried creating a menu item for your article categories.

Example.
1- Lets say we have category called news
2- We create a new menu item in any menu doesnt matter and call it "News"
3- Then we have a module set to get articles from news category ( see no 1 )

Then your url should take following format

www.website.com/root/menuitemname/articlename

Or You can configure SEF Component to add your url style by modifying or adding Extra addon extensions.

Right now I cant remember if ACeSEF had such possibility i ll have to look into it.

Try experimenting by creating a menu item while I look into ACESEF Component.

See you around.

The structure of the menu is;
News - News -(news1)
- Articles -(article1)
- Blogs -(blog1)
likewise.
Without AceSEF, url shows "domain.com/news/articles/item/article1" and this is what I expected though "ReadMe" doesn't work.
With AceSEF, url shows "domain.com/articles/item/article1", where the parent category is missing, and ""ReadMe" shows "domain.com/item/article1".
Plus with AceSEF on, once click on "News - Articles", cannot go to "News - News" nor other same-level sub-categories page.
Do I need to modify url one by one manually when ever adding new articles?

Thanks
