Dissapearing text from module body

I configured a module to simply display a single article on the front page. I'm showing only a header and article text.
Upon loading the page, the module appears in the box fine, but only for a couple of seconds, after which the article text dissapears from the box, while the header and full expanded box remains visible.

I tried pointing to a Joomla Category as well as Joomla Article - same behaviour.
Happens in both FireFox and IE.

You help is much appreciated.
