Articles displaying problem

Hi,

I've installed News Show GK 4 in my Joomla 1.7 site, and use the module at a lot of pages, displaying articles from specific category without problem.
I've put the module in home page, but when I choose data source --> Joomla articles instead of Joomla category, I get the "Error no articles to display". I use this method, because I want to display the 8 last articles, no matter the category.

Actually, the solution is very simple!!
I set data source --> Joomla categories, and I chose ALL categories!!

Just for info, if you select Joomla Articles and or K2 Articles as data source underneath it you have to enter article ids.

E.g
Data Source: Joomla Articles
Select Articles: 7,12,24,47,50

Its basically you are telling news show pro I want selected articles to show but you are not saying which articles.

When you are selecting Joomla Category or K2 Category it pulls any article from those categories.

As for displaying last 8 articles from any category you choose Joomla Category as data source and from categories tab select All Categories then order them by date and amount of article is 8....
